Talk to BA Hons Early Childhood Studies students at the University of Chichester:
Sally Wagter came to the University of Chichester to present to the students on the BA Hons Early Childhood programme about autism. Sally was an amazing speaker – extremely engaging and knowledgeable. Her understanding of autism and how she has used the Son-Rise programme to support her son with autism was both fascinating and inspiring. Sally took us through her son’s journey – both the highs and lows – ending with a wonderful video of her son playing the piano and singing. Thank you Sally, a wonderful session!

Talk to the autism support group at Seal Primary School in Selsey, West Sussex:
Sally Wagter has first-hand experience of the joys and frustrations of living with a child on the Autistic Spectrum. She is able to share in a clear and helpful way some of the insights she has learned along the journey as her child moved from being non communicative to a place of being able to hold his own in society and achieve things that many neurotypical people would struggle with. She is warm, friendly approachable and our autism support group benefitted greatly from having her come and share her story.

Talk to the Friendship Club at the Methodist Church in Bognor Regis, West Sussex:
Sally Wagter came to the Friendship Club at the Methodist Church in Bognor Regis as a speaker on autism earlier this year. She was very authentic in portraying the seriousness of the condition due to her own personal experience. The audience were captured by the way she imparted the circumstances of the situation with her son and she had the ability to hold their attention leaving them wanting more.
Lilian Knight, President of the Friendship Club
